Senior Cost Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently recruiting for a Senior Cost Accountant job in the Houston, TX area. This position will be working with Plant Management and the Supply Chain group. Qualified candidate will need to have 4 plus years' experience in cost accounting.

Job Duties :

• Analysis of cost roll
• Analysis and reporting of spend and manufacturing variances
• Review and approve capital requests and review of fixed assets
• Complete various monthly closing activities including preparation of journal entries, key account analyses and forecasting
• Health check of risk inventory
• Support of plant management
• Assist in internal / external audits
• Assist in development, coordination, and completion of annual plan and mid-year business review processes
• Performs special projects and ad-hoc analysis as assigned
