Supply Management Specialist
As a Supply Management Specialist (Title 32), GS-2003-9 / 11, you will develop command logistics guidance and support plans for federal and state missions. Major duties include :
- Formulate and implement comprehensive logistics support plans, policies and logistics operations support.
- Develop, coordinate and implement policies, procedures and requirements for unit deployment, inter-service support agreements, emergency support for civil authorities, training exercises support, and environmental compliance.
- Initiate equipment redistribution guidance.
- Develop, staff and implement logistics plans for material fielding, mission support and mobilization.
- Serve as the Information Systems / Automation Security Officer, Physical Security Officer and Safety Officer for the directorate, providing technical oversight.
- Update Internal Management Control (IMC) Plan projecting 5 years into the future for all DCSLOG / G4 branches or activities.
- Analyze, direct and provide command logistics guidance to support CTA / TDA / MTOE changes and turn-in of command excess equipment.
- Consolidate all logistics readiness indicators to formulate an assessment of the command logistics readiness of the state.

The first area of consideration will be all excepted permanent and indefinite temporary technicians within the ILNG.The second area of consideration will be all current federal employees.The third area of consideration will be all federal re-employment eligible.The fourth area of consideration will be applicants willing to become T32 Dual Status Technicians and gain ILNG membership.The fifth area of consideration will be U.S. citizens.Military grades : Enlisted / Warrant Officer / Officer - Minimum Rank E5 - Maximum Rank O3
General experience : Must possess experience, education, or training which has provided you with a general knowledge of one or more aspects of the supply field; experience using computer and automation systems.
Specialized experience : GS-11 Level - Must possess specialized experience which includes at least 1 year of specialized experience at the GS-9 Level; experience supervising and / or managing supply personnel and a variety of supply functions; knowledge on the entire inventory management supply system; experience coordinating with other organizations on complex and controversial supply issues; experience providing advice and guidance on supply regulations to upper levels of management regarding supply functions.
GS-9 Level - Must possess at least 1-year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower level; experience analyzing, developing, evaluating to improve supply programs, policies, procedures, techniques, etc.; experience involving the control of supply stocks and accounting for equipment; knowledge of supply functions, cataloging, maintenance, and disposal procedures; experience in cost estimates, budgets, or funding management; experience conducting extensive searches for required information; reconstruct records for complex supply transactions; and / or provide supply operations support; experience requiring person-to-person contacts to convey information and ability to compile reports, letters, memoranda, etc.
