Financial Analyst at University of California, San Francisco

The Financial and Administrative Analyst is responsible for complex financial analysis for one or more Divisions in the Department of Pediatrics. The analyst uses advanced skills to manage high-volume and highly complex transactions, supports annual budget preparation, models projections of division finances, and monitors and resolves deficit balances. S / he provides some administrative support for the assigned Division(s), and may manage and coordinate a range of complex day-to-day division administrative operations, including facilities and human resources management.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex financial analysis for one or more Divisions within the Department of Pediatrics.
• Manage high-volume and highly complex transactions with a full understanding of clinical practices and university policies.
• Utilize financial tools to ensure accurate General Ledger reporting and financial data integrity.
• Assist the Division Administrator with annual budget preparation and projection modeling; monitor and resolve deficit balances.
• Provide administrative support for assigned Division(s) and coordinate day-to-day operations as needed (facilities and human resources management).

Job Details

Location : San Francisco, CA (Mission Bay campus). Work style : Flexible. Shift : Days. Shift length : 8 hours. Additional shift details : M-F 8 : 30-5pm.

Salary and Benefits

The final salary and offer components are subject to UC policy. The salary range for this position is $81,300 - $172,300 (Annual Rate). Placement within the range depends on work experience and internal equity. For represented positions, placement within the salary range is guided by the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
