Process Mechanical Superintendent

MGC Contractors Inc. is a 100% Employee Owned Corporation. We specialize in all forms of water and wastewater general contracting including Job Order Contracting Construction Manager at Risk Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build throughout Arizona Texas Utah and New Mexico.

MGC Contractors Inc is looking for a Process Mechanical Superintendent for our Texas Division in the El Paso area.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

• Review and comprehend blueprint drawings and specifications.
• Have the ability to lay out large and small diameter mechanical piping and equipment such as Clarifier Filters Chemical rooms and Pumps.
• Coordinate and assist with the scheduling of the projects site logistics plan and manpower.
• Manage effectively crews of 3-6 people.
• Develop and train future Foremen and Superintendents.
• Coordinate with the team on the pay request process.
• Monitor project costs and job cost reports. Ability to manage Job Cost Reporting with Project Team.
• Help implement and monitor safety for all on-site personnel and subcontractors.
• Review approve and help order material and equipment needed.
• Any and all other duties assigned.
