Construction Helper

PumpTex, Inc in Central Texas is seeking to hire a full-time Construction Helper to assist our construction team and to provide excellent customer service to our clients. The ideal candidate is someone with experience on an active construction site and experienced with hand tools and power tools.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSTRUCTION HELPER

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience with Hand Tools, Power Tools and Safe Working Procedures
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to travel when needed for projects
• Ability to pass a drug test and background screening

A DAY IN THE LIFE

As a part of our Installer / Construction Team, you juggle many tasks in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment. With a sense of urgency, you communicate in person and over the phone with our Team and clients. You respond to a variety of construction projects, service calls including emergency response. Happily, you repair and maintain dispensers, turbines, UST tank top equipment, UST monitoring equipment, and dispenser calibration. Your persistence in following up ensures that our clients are taken care of. To stay at the top of your game, you keep up to date on new installation procedures and industry compliance. Additionally, you participate in ongoing training. Your ability to successfully manage client expectations through correct judgments, sound decisions, and your technical knowledge is critical to your success.

WORK SCHEDULE

Our Team typically work Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm but there is usually plenty of opportunity to work overtime. Overnight travel is required for out-of-town projects.
