Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Audit Associate to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $80,000 to $100,000 per year.
Job Responsibilities :
- Lead audit engagements from planning through completion, including reviewing workpapers and financial statements.
- Supervise and support junior team members, providing guidance and mentorship throughout engagements.
- Participate in client meetings and maintain clear communication to ensure expectations are met.
- Manage both audit and non-audit assignments efficiently, ensuring timely and accurate deliverables.
- Begin building strong client relationships by demonstrating professionalism and responsiveness.
Requirements :
Minimum of 2+ years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on audit engagements.CPA license, successful completion of the CPA exam, or eligibility to sit for the exam.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and QuickBooks.Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.Willingness to adjust work schedule as needed to accommodate client and project demands.Qualifications :
A Bachelor's degree in Accounting.Solid understanding of GAAP, OCBOA, and financial statement presentation standards.Familiarity with generally accepted auditing standards and common audit procedures.Experience with not-for-profit and affordable housing audits is preferred.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.REF #50821
