Facilities Coordinator

We provide comprehensive facility services ranging from mechanical maintenance and self-performed, site-based operations to energy-efficiency upgrades and supplier-managed interior / exterior maintenance.
EMCOR Facilities Services is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to support facility operations across the West Coast region. As a key member of the Account Operations Team, the Facilities Coordinator will assist in the day-to-day management, maintenance, and operational performance of all assigned sites. This role is responsible for coordinating facility activities within the assigned region, including work order management, ensuring timely completion and follow-up, and tracking performance against established service and operational targets. The Facilities Coordinator will also support various administrative and reporting functions to help ensure smooth, efficient operations across the portfolio.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Qualifications
Education : High School Diploma or equivalent
Business Experience : 1-3 years experience in a professional, fast paced environment.
Licenses / Certifications : Valid drivers license
Language Skills : Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Technical Qualifications & Skills : Experience using a Commercial Maintenance Management System (CMMS) or Work Order Management process. Experience using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office programs. Experience with operations and maintenance for Corporate Commercial Space Industry is preferred. Ability to learn new computer programs and apply them to work requirements.
Possess good interpersonal, organizational and self-management skills. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Strong customer satisfaction focus meets and exceeds expectations of internal / external customers; anticipates the needs of internal / external customers and resolves any supplier delivery or quality problems impacting customers. Ability to work without supervision and change work priorities; deal appropriately with multiple deadlines. Ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports.
