Opportunity :

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details :

  • Work Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends or call required
  • Must have PET / CT experience as this is primarily a PET technician role
  • 2 years of experience required - unit accepts first-time travelers
  • Float within facility / scope of practice as needed
  • Work with patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
  • Required certifications : BLS, PET
  • Epic charting system experience preferred
  • Must be available to work major holidays that fall during assignment period
  • 40 hours of orientation required
  • Skills include various nuclear medicine procedures : bone scans, HIDA scans, liver imaging, renal perfusion, PET scans, whole body scans, and ventilation / perfusion studies
  • Responsibilities include drawing venous blood, starting and maintaining IVs, and storing / handling / disposal of radioactive materials
  • Experience with Phillips and Siemens equipment preferred
  • Must complete full compliance requirements to start on time
  • Georgia or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal

The organization maintains high standards for patient care and utilizes modern nuclear medicine technology to serve patients across multiple age groups with various diagnostic imaging needs.
