Basic Job Functions :

The Vulcraft Indiana is seeking qualified candidates for an ESTIMATOR in the Dayton sales territory. This person will in the Fairborn Ohio sales office. Compensation consists of base wage plus commission.

  • Build strong durable loyal relationships with customers and teammates
  • Effectively consult articulate Vulcrafts value and sell strategically
  • Gather market intelligence & execute the division VVG and Nucor strategy
  • Accurately and quickly estimate joist and deck requirements from contract documents and price projects when necessary
  • Ensure the highest standards of service are maintained through professional informative and responsive communications (written and verbal) with our internal and external customers
  • Must be willing and have means to travel

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • 1 to 2 years experience interpreting structural contract drawings
  • Personal computer knowledge including Microsoft Office

    • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in related field
  • Experience in sales and / or customer service
  • Experience with digital takeoff software
  • Experience with SAP
