Responsibilities of the Brazing Operator
- Read and interpret blueprints and instructions to ensure accurate execution.
- Set up the work area each day following provided instructions.
- Ensure first piece sign-off is completed to maintain quality standards.
- Adhere to proper PPE policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Melt and apply solder along adjoining edges of workpieces using soldering iron, gas torch, or electronic / ultrasonic equipment.
- Grind, cut, buff, or bend edges of workpieces to ensure a snug fit before joining.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
