Lead Application Security Engineer

A company is looking for a Lead Application Security Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

Own the security of all technologies, protocols, and products developed by the team, identifying potential attack vectors

Establish overall security objectives and lead planning and execution to achieve them

Coordinate with the engineering team to establish best security practices in software development cycles

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field

Minimum of 3 years' experience in hands-on security analysis and vulnerability discovery for blockchains or DeFi protocols

Good understanding of smart contract languages and their semantics

Good understanding of operational security and security best practices

A track record in identifying past critical vulnerabilities is a strong plus
