As Business Development and Strategy Associate at Zimmer Biomet you will be responsible for financial modeling and valuation analyses, supporting deal execution including due diligence coordination, preparing deal presentation materials and maintaining BD pipeline reports and trackers in EMEA and internationally.

How You'll Create Impact:
Develop and maintain detailed financial models to support business development initiatives, including valuation analyses (NPV, IRR) and EPS accretion/dilution assessments, in collaboration with Finance, Accounting, and Commercial teams.
Apply financial modeling standards and integrate insights from M&A due diligence and integration planning, including cost implications related to compliance and quality requirements.
Support the execution of business development transactions by assisting with due diligence activities and coordinating information flow across cross-functional teams.
Partner with business units and corporate functions to collect data and contribute to the evaluation and screening of new business opportunities.
Prepare presentation materials and analyses for leadership and Investment Committee meetings.
Assist in maintaining and updating Business Development policies, procedures, and documentation on an annual basis.
Track and update Business Development pipeline reports and databases to ensure accuracy and visibility of ongoing opportunities.
Perform ad hoc analyses and provide analytical and project support for special business initiatives.

Deep understanding of valuation modeling concepts including IRR, NPV and EPS accretion/dilution calculations.
Exceptional financial modeling capabilities with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
Advanced analytical abilities as well as meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to work in a cross functional team environment and deal with ambiguity.
Confidence when engaging with senior leadership, serving as a trusted partner and advisor.
A proactive, self-driven mindset, comfortable working under tight deadlines.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to build and communicate data-rich deliverables.

Your Background:
B. A. or B.S. in Business Administration or related field, MBA preferred.
Profound work experience in Business Development, Finance/Banking, Strategy, or in related areas.
Outstanding communication and presentation skills in English, both written and verbal.
Demonstrates strong project management skills paired with a strong business acumen.
Availability for business travel 10-20%.
