Your Role as a Social Worker :

Provide Direction & Support – Help patients develop treatment and recovery plans tailored to their needs

Facilitate Individual & Group Therapy Sessions – Using Motivational Interviewing and other evidence-based techniques

Monitor Patient Progress – Adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure success

Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team – Work closely with psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and support staff

Identify Barriers to Recovery – Help clients overcome obstacles on their path to sobriety

Educate & Support Families – Guide loved ones in understanding the recovery process
