The QTI Group is partnering with a Madison client to hire a Digital Solutions Architect. This is a one-year contract-to-hire opportunity.
The Digital Solutions Architect is responsible for partnering with Business teams, technology teams and external vendor teams to deliver highly scalable, flexible and resilient solution architectures to address various business needs. The ideal candidate will have previous architecture experience with a strong engineering background.
Location: Madison, Wisconsin (hybrid). Must be currently located in the Madison, Wisconsin, area.
Comp: $80-85/hr.
Responsibilities include:
- Assess proposed business ideas and determine various architectural possibilities
- Lead identification and analysis of business drivers and partners to develop solution architecture requirements
- Partner with internal and external technical teams to craft highly scalable and flexible architectures
- Develop rough cost estimates for various technical solutions and work closely with external third-party partners to address business needs
- Manage documentation process and utilize best practices for future cloud solutions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience related to solutions architecture/design in data, application and infrastructure domains
- 5+ years of large-scale software development or application engineering with previous coding experience
- Experience building enterprise applications using modern architecture techniques (serverless, micro services and containerization) and cloud platforms
- Possess a strong understanding and previous experience of architecture patterns including SOA, integration, data, streaming and cloud architecture
- Experience building digital architectural patterns at scale, including custom designed application and data solutions
