CNC Machining Engineer (80-100K)

Company Overview :

    • Key Duties include :

  • Create manufacturing processes in a precision manufacturing environment.
  • Use FEA to design and test new and existing machinery programs, tools, and fixtures.
  • Conduct process improvement opportunities and document results (tooling, speeds, feeds, fixtures, and process sheets).
  • Write job instructions and train CNC machinists on manufacturing processes.
  • Use statistical methods to track machining trends and identify cost reduction (tooling costs, or machine scrap).

    • Education and Experience :

  • Bachelors in Engineering (Mechanical or Manufacturing).
  • General skill in 3D CAD (Mastercam, NX CAM, Unigraphics, Solidworks, Fusion360, ProE etc)
  • Experience with CNC programming, tool-path generation via CAM, tool design, fixture design, daily machine troubleshooting, new product development.
  • Knowledge of Okuma and Makino Milling Machines preferred.
