Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Medical Surgical / Telemetry Duration : 9 weeks Shift : Night Hours per Shift : 12 hours Experience : Minimum 2 years required License : Required Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have : - Previous charge RN experience preferred - EPIC experience required Description : This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical / Telemetry. The role involves working night shifts for 12-hour periods. Candidates must possess a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience. BLS and ACLS certifications are required, along with NIHSS certification. The unit will primarily care for medical-surgical patients. Duties will include observation of respiratory conditions, general medical-surgical diagnoses, and palliative care. All travelers will be subject to float across various facilities as needed. Candidates must be flexible with their scheduling. A Pass / Fail EKG exam is mandatory for all RNs, regardless of specialty. Only candidates who meet the compliance deadlines will be considered. Demonstration of skills in various nursing procedures is expected. This position may necessitate working during holidays and weekends. Candidates should be aware of patient ratios and must manage a patient load effectively. The ideal candidate will also have experience with IV management, telemetry, and wound care.
