Bakery Assistant Inman Park (Full-Time)

Were seeking a full-time Pastry and Bakery Assistant for our Inman Park team. This position is best suited for someone with 12 years of hands-on pastry experience (beyond basic baking), who thrives in a fast-paced setting and has the precision and efficiency to consistently produce high-quality goods.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow precise recipes for a variety of baked goods
• Execute high-volume production of pastries and cookies
• Slice bread and package items for service and delivery
• Assist in burger bun production and pastry shaping
• Participate in our multi-day naturally leavened sourdough process
• Complete end-of-day cleaning and sanitation procedures
• Support occasional deliveries as needed

Requirements

• 12 years of professional pastry experience required

(Not just baking at home. Experience with breads, doughs, cookies, etc.)

• Experience in high-volume production a strong plus
• Bread experience, especially naturally leavened sourdough, is a bonus
• Familiarity with food safety and sanitation best practices
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
• Availability for evening shifts (until ~8 PM) and weekends is mandatory
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for long periods
