Job description :

The role of a c aregiver at Gol den Ca re  is to provide   high-quality, non-medic al  car e and support services to clients ,  delivering   care  wit h   professionalism, empathy,   compassion,   kindness,   and   in   a  respect ful  manner .

Some   caregiver  duties include,  but not limited   to ;

Provide  companionship and emotional support to clients .

Providing clients with  Alzheimer’s / Dementia  or  related  behaviors ( i.e., wandering, paranoia)   a safe  and secure environment  by   monitoring   their  health   and  safe ty, a s it  is a priority.

Assist   clients   with  a ll the ir  ADL’s  (Activates  of Daily   Li ving)   in  accordance with  individualized care plans   ( i.e. ,   p ersonal hygiene  assistance — oral care, grooming, toileting ,   i ncontinence  c are,  bathing,  dressing, etc.)

Light housekeeping , laundry, and organiz ing   to  maintain  a clean-living environment.

Meal   preparation and   assist  with feeding if needed .

Transferring & Ambulation — provide  safety,  stability   and   support   while  clien t  i s   mobile  and  during  transfers .

Transportation (i.e., appointments, grocery shopping, errands,  outings,  etc.)

Requirements needed to apply :

• MUST have at least 3 months experience working as a caregiver;
• MUST be, or willin g  to register as a California Home Care Aide (HCA);
• MUST be able to clear a criminal background check by the DOJ / FBI;
• MUST  have  a  current  Negative Tuberculosis (TB) test   (or willingness to complete one);
• MUST  obtain  a valid  Driver’s License  and a reliable vehicle;
• MUST be 18 years of age or older;
• MUST be able to provide 2 forms of ID such as a Driver's license,  social  security, Passport, and or Birth certificate;
