Job Description

NetImpact Strategies, Inc. is seeking to hire an Information Assurance / Security Specialist to support a Federal agency.

This role is located 100% onsite in Fort Sam Houston, TX .

Candidates must be eligible for a Secret Clearance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review certification and accreditation documentation to ensure compliance with RMF standards.
  • Guide customers through the RMF process, ensuring understanding and proper implementation.
  • Ensure all Information Security, Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS), and Government Off the Shelf (GOTS) products are properly certified and accredited in accordance with RMF and configuration management policies.
  • Assist system owners and the Information System Security Officer (ISSO) in developing and writing Certification and Accreditation (C&A) documentation packages.
  • Support the process of obtaining an Authority to Operate (ATO) for organizational systems and environments.
  • Conduct security analysis and apply system security practices within the organization to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
  • Utilize commonly used tools, concepts, practices, and procedures specific to system security and IA in daily operation
  • Contribute to maintaining and improving system security posture by aligning with federal and organizational security requirements.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications and Certifications

  • Four (4) years of progressive experience demonstrated the required proficiency
  • Bachelor’s degree and / or equivalency
  • Candidates must be eligible for a Secret Clearance.
  • IAT III (CASP CE, CISA, CISSP, GCED, CCNP Security, GCIH, certification as per DoD 8570.01-M standards.
  • IAM III certification (CISM, CISSP (or associate), GSLC) as per DoD 8570.01-M standards
  • CE : Associate level (professional preferred) certificate for supported technology
  • Ability to work 100% onsite in Fort Sam Houston, TX.

    • Preferred Qualifications and Certifications

  • Previous Federal Consulting Experience.
  • Additional certifications in Any relevant security certifications beyond those required.
  • Familiarity With Security Tools, Concepts, Practices, and Procedures Commonly Used Within The Field.
