What You'll Do : Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location, including the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor and report any suspicious activity or maintenance issues encountered during patrols. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential disturbances or prohibited activities. Complete detailed and accurate incident reports and daily activity logs as required by Allied Universal and client protocols. Collaborate with local law enforcement and / or emergency personnel as necessary in the event of incidents at the location. Follow all protocols related to the handling and carrying of firearms in accordance with Allied Universal and client guidelines. Minimum Requirements : An armed guard card or license is required. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Must be at least 21 years of age. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
