Our client is in search of a Laser Machine Assembler to be a part of their team and assist in constructing precise laser machines. The chosen candidate will be responsible for assembling mechanical and electrical parts, ensuring quality standards are met, and contributing to the ongoing development within an inventive manufacturing setting.
Job Responsibilities :
Construct laser machine parts and systems per engineering drawings, part lists, blueprints, and hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic schematics.
Utilize precision tools (torque wrenches, depth gauges, dial indicators, digital levels) to meet exact tolerances.
Operate overhead crane for moving heavy components during assembly.
Ensure adherence to company quality standards.
Read, convert, and measure using both imperial (inch) and metric systems.
Collaborate with supervisors and team members to reach collective objectives.
Maintain a tidy, organized, and safe work environment following lean principles.
Adhere to all safety protocols and use proper PPE.
Contribute insights for continuous process enhancements.
Requirements :
Minimum of 2 years of assembly experience or 5 years in manufacturing, machine tool service, or maintenance.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and engage in repetitive reaching and bending.
Proficiency in reading schematics, blueprints, and part documentation.
Strong attention to detail and proficiency with precise measuring devices are essential.
Familiarity with documentation, drawings, and part lists is advantageous.
Experience in electrical wiring assembly is a plus.
Forklift license and computer literacy are preferred.
