Senior Mechanical Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Reads and interprets blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.

· Confers with engineers and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve system malfunctions, and provide technical information.

· Develops equations or systems of equations based on product and project needs to provide calculations pertinent to the design.

· Recommends design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions.

· Specifies system components or directs modification of products to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.

· Conducts research that tests and analyzes the feasibility, design, operation, and performance of equipment, components, and systems.

· Researches, designs, evaluates, installs, operates, and maintains mechanical products, equipment, systems, and processes to meet requirements, applying knowledge of engineering principles.

· Performs other engineering duties as requested by the engineering manager.

Requirements:

· Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering

· Design and drafting

· Hydraulic Component specifications, assembly, and test

· Instrumentation specification, assembly, and test

· Power Drivetrain Design

· Heavy Equipment / Machine Design

· Solid works

· AutoCAD

· Microsoft Office Suite

· LabVIEW or other Data Acquisition Software

· Machine Tool Operation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
