Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join a mission-focused program supporting space and intelligence systems. In this role, you will be part of a cross-functional engineering team responsible for maintaining the reliability, resiliency, and survivability of mission-critical systems. The ideal candidate has strong experience with Linux systems, automation, and enterprise service reliability, along with the ability to work onsite at Buckley Space Force Base.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure the uptime, health, and availability of mission-critical systems.
Automate systems administration and operational activities to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
Configure, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise services and infrastructure.
Administer and maintain Linux-based systems.
Implement Infrastructure as Code, Policy as Code, and Configuration as Code practices.
Develop automation scripts and tooling using Linux-based scripting languages.
Contribute to process improvements, reliability enhancements, and team best practices.
Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to support program objectives and service-level commitments.
Required Qualifications
5 7 years of relevant professional experience.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
Active TS / SCI security clearance .
Strong Linux systems administration background.
Experience with automation, scripting, and enterprise service management.
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated success maintaining system uptime and reliability.
Experience with IaC / PaC / CaC frameworks and tools.
Knowledge of modern DevOps, SRE, and observability best practices.
Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder negotiation skills.
Proven ability to provide technical leadership within a collaborative environment.
