What a day at EXP has in store for you

As an Archaeological Field Technician, you’ll assist archaeologists in the field with excavation, survey, and documentation of archaeological sites. You’ll be part of a team working in remote environments, contributing to the discovery and preservation of cultural resources.

Your responsibilities include :

• Excavation : Dig test pits or trenches, screen soil, and carefully recover artifacts.
• Survey : Conduct ground and aerial surveys to identify archaeological sites.
• Documentation : Record findings through detailed notes, photographs, maps, and forms.
• Artifact handling : Clean, catalog, label, and bag artifacts and samples.
• Data organization : Organize field notes and data for analysis and reporting.
