Networking Virtualization Windows / Linux Automation Ansible PowerShell Python Security+ or CISSP and at least one Operating System certification (Linux, Windows, VMware, Cisco). Candidate must possess or have the ability to obtain an active Secret security clearance or higher. Clearance will be sponsored for the right candidate. Bachelor's or Technical Degree from an accredited college or university in an unspecified field of study. Design, Develop, enhance, integrate, and maintain software and system components supporting PMW160 system configuration, deployment, and sustainment. Create, Modify, or enhance scripts and utilities used for configuration, automation, and deployment of various software. Integrate hardware and software software with virtual infrastructures, Windows, Linux, via IP based and Non-IP based applications. Support and perform software patching, updates, and application compatibility testing to ensure system baseline integrity. Create and maintain system automation tools (e.g., Ansible, PowerShell, Python, Bash). Contribute to system compliance with DoD cybersecurity standards including STIG implementation and RMF validation. Troubleshoot complex issues in lab and deployed environments while providing root cause analysis, and defect resolution implementation. Collaborate with engineering team in a fast-paced operational environment to support operational readiness. Ensure customer requirements are met while operating effectively, considering all aspects of the product lifecycle, from design to maintenance. Participate and support production installation events, lab integration testing, and software readiness reviews. Systems Engineer I : $75,000 - $100,000 annually. Systems Engineer II : $85,000 - $120,000 annually. Systems Engineer III : $120,000 - $150,000 annually. Sigma Defense is seeking a Systems Engineer to support PMW160 and NIWC Pacific for U.S. Navy Enterprise networks. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to shape capability delivery by providing system design, system development, systems integration, configuration, troubleshooting, and lifecycle engineering support for Navy IT networks and systems. The candidate will work closely with Navy stakeholders and partner teams to ensure applications and services are documented and integrated effectively.
