NES Fircroft is hiring : Operator - Process, Production, Refinery in Benicia

Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Process / Refinery Operator to oversee and manage complex production operations within a large-scale industrial environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of refining processes and operational safety standards, ensuring smooth and efficient plant performance. Key Responsibilities Maintain a thorough understanding of operational procedures, production policies, and safety protocols to ensure continuous and safe processing. Interpret and follow detailed process documentation and operational reports accurately. Monitor equipment performance, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements to optimize productivity. Operate and control a variety of process units and systems, including tanks, mixers, heat exchangers, pumps, furnaces, and vacuum systems. Manage product flow through manual and automated valves, meters, and transfer systems. Record operational data from control panels and maintain accurate logs. Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs on plant equipment to ensure reliability and compliance with safety standards. Uphold housekeeping standards to maintain a clean and safe work environment. Drive as part of routine operational duties. Skills & Competencies In-depth knowledge of industrial processing techniques, including distillation and related methods. Strong understanding of machinery operation and safety requirements. Ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues promptly. Sound decision-making skills and ability to work under challenging conditions. Comfortable working in high-temperature environments and wearing full PPE (coveralls, protective footwear, hard hats, respirators, etc.). Qualifications Minimum of 3 years' experience in production or process operations within an industrial setting.
