The Cleaning & Restoration Technician plays a key role in delivering high-quality services while ensuring customer satisfaction. This position combines professional carpet and floor care with hands-on restoration work, offering strong opportunities for growth, certification, and advancement within the company.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

- High school diploma or GED required.

Experience:

- Experience preferred, but we will train the right candidate.

- 1 year of carpet cleaning or floor cleaning experience preferred.

- Specialty cleaning experience preferred (any of the following):

* Carpet Cleaning

* Upholstery Cleaning

* Tile & Grout Cleaning

* Air Duct Cleaning

* Stripping & Waxing Commercial Flooring

* Odor Control

* Hard Surface Floor Care

Skills:

- Ability to perform both cleaning and restoration services as trained.

- Adequate math skills to determine correct equipment types and quantities.

- Basic computer and mobile device proficiency (email, apps, reporting tools).

- Strong communication and customer-service skills.

- Ability to work in varying conditions, perform physical labor, and lift equipment.

- Willingness to learn advanced restoration techniques and new technologies.

- Ability to maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment in clean, working condition.

- Dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining company standards.

Certifications Highly Desired

Candidates with the following certifications are strongly preferred:

• Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT)
• Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT)
• Applied Structural Drying Technician (ASD)
• Mold Remediation Specialist (MRS)
• Fire and Smoke Damage Restoration Technician (FSRT)
• Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT)

Responsibilities:

- Perform Carpet & Floor Cleaning and Restoration services offered by the company.

- Complete all required documentation, work orders, and authorizations.

- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers.

- Conduct basic maintenance on equipment and company vehicles.

- Inspect completed work to ensure exceptional service quality.

- Complete technician daily logs, job notes, and customer documentation.

- Maintain tools, materials, and supplies in company vehicles.

- Manage inventory of cleaning and restoration supplies.

- Learn and use the newest technology and equipment in the industry.

- Hold yourself and others accountable for maintaining high company standards.

Compensation & Growth:

- Compensation reflects current experience and certification level.

- Hourly rate increases as additional certifications are earned (water mitigation, mold, trauma scene, asbestos, etc.).

- Commission opportunities may be available in addition to hourly pay.
