Communication System Integration and Test Engineer

Our client, a leading federal defense contractor has multiple openings for Communication System Integration and Test Engineers on the MUOS team in Scottsdale, AZ.

The position can by Hybrid with at least three days on-site and two days working from home.

You-ll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for defining, developing and sustaining test and integration plans and processes for a live communication system.

Required Skills

• Must be US Citizen due to government requirement
• Must be able to obtain a DoD Secret (active Secret is preferred at time of hire)
• Requires a Bachelor-s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.
• Leadership of large scale voice and data communications system integration and test
• Expertise in communication system end-to-end functional test planning and execution
• Success working with multiple development teams and, ideally, multiple government stakeholders
• Integration and test experience with 3G / 5G communication systems, or large scale network management systems
• Satellite or cellular communication ground system operations and integration knowledge
• Experience with planning and executing integration of system elements from multiple contractors and / or government agencies
• Experience with recommending and implementing improvements to test processes and environments
