Main Duties & Responsibilities
Adhere to Terex safety policies and proceduresFollow and promote The Terex Way ValuesWork on a wide array of equipment including truck mounted aerial platforms, digger derricks and cranesOpportunities to travel and trainTroubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic and / or electrical systemInspect equipment used by customersConveys information to Terex team members as appropriatePreside at trade shows, coordinating business development and educational activities with customers and contactsMust have a basic knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and incorporate the principles in dealings with customers and team membersMeet or exceed the training requirements for self-development during the yearPerform other duties as assigned that support the overall objective of the positionRequired Qualifications :
High school diploma or GEDBasic set of mechanical tools (sockets, wrenches, and battery-operated impact gun)A minimum of 2 years of experience working with heavy machinery and / or utility equipmentWillingness to submit for pre-employment background check and drug screeningPreferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
5+ years in a similar fieldExcellent communication skills both oral and written.Experience with utility-type equipmentFluid Power Society certification (experience, or knowledge)Extensive knowledge of Terex Products : e.g Hi-Ranger, Telelect, Genie products or similar brands.Ability to work in a team-based safety focused workplaceAble to work in a fast-past environmentBasic computer skillsWork Environment Considerations :
Ability to stand on concrete 8+ hours per shiftAble to climb ladders and over and under vehicles.Tolerable to heightsSalary : The compensation range for this position is $35-$45 hourly. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.
