Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Bridgeville, Pennsylvania. The ideal candidate will excel in managing invoices, maintaining records, and ensuring timely payments to vendors.

Responsibilities :

• Accurately process invoices, ensuring proper coding and compliance with company policies.
• Perform data entry tasks to maintain financial records and documentation.
• Manage payment processing activities, including preparing and executing check runs.
• Reconcile accounts to verify accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Communicate with vendors to address inquiries and resolve payment issues.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date records of invoices and transactions.
• Provide administrative support to the finance team as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and operational efficiency.
• Assist in preparing reports related to accounts payable activities. Requirements - Proven experience in Accounts Payable or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of invoice processing and coding.
• Proficiency in handling check runs and payment processing.
• Familiarity with account reconciliation procedures.
• Excellent data entry skills with high attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills for vendor and team interactions.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Office applications.
