Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our clinical team on a 13-week assignment in Oregon. This is a Monday–Friday, day-shift role with no weekends or on-call requirements, offering a balanced and consistent schedule. The ideal candidate will bring clinical expertise, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to support daily dental operations efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance to providers, residents, and dental students during procedures.
• Prepare, maintain, disinfect, and break down treatment rooms and surgical suites.
• Perform 4-handed and 6-handed dentistry, suctioning, tissue retraction, and instrument passing.
• Take dental radiographs and ensure compliance with radiographic safety standards.
• Complete operatory tray setups, sterilize instruments, and maintain aseptic technique.
• Record patient history, vitals, treatment plans, and assist with documentation.
• Communicate post-operative instructions and support patient education.
• Maintain supply inventory, equipment care, and assist with ordering as needed.
• Collaborate with schedulers, billing staff, sterilization techs & other dental support teams.
• Provide guidance and training to dental students when assigned, reinforcing clinical best practices.
