Quality Assurance / Sanitation Manager

We are seeking a  Quality Assurance / Sanitation Manager  for a food manufacturing facility in  Wisconsin near Madison ! This company has been in business for 40 years and are growing significantly, adding a new position.  They are looking for someone with Quality Assurance management experience as well as sanitation experience. This position is ideal for someone who prefers to manage from the floor, not an office, and enjoys mentoring personnel.

The ideal candidate holds :

• 5+ years of supervisory experience preferred
• Computer skills, analytical, equipment and food-processing equipment knowledge.
• Knowledge of quality control processes related to the food-processing industry.
• Knowledge of quality process control and HACCP, SSOP and SOP.
• Knowledge of USDA and FDA standards.
• Experience with audits
• Good organizational and communication skills both verbally and written.
• Familiarity with organic, Kosher and Halal preferred
• PCQI certification preferred
• Food science background preferred
• Familiarity with inventory systems (DSI preferred)
• Familiarity with Capa forms
