Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY :

The Project Engineer assists the Project Manager / Executive by tracking and maintaining records that are associated with submittals, costs, deliveries and payroll at the job site. The Project Engineer is also responsible for tracking and maintaining all safety communications, manuals and records.

Safety :

• Prepare and give weekly Toolbox Talks, Daily Safety Huddles and maintain records.
• Maintain a file for One Call Center requests to ensure no utilities are damaged during construction activities.
• Maintain a retrievable filing system for the Hazardous Communication Program - MSDS.
• Maintain the Project Safety Manual, make periodic jobsite safety inspections and record / file all findings.
• Maintain records of site safety inspections and track all injuries that occurred on the project.
