Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon – Locum Opportunity (Washington State)

We are seeking a Board-Certified Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to provide locum coverage at a Level II Trauma Center in Washington State. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive team with strong PA and hospital support while covering both inpatient and outpatient needs.

Position Highlights :

Start Date : November 17, ongoing coverage (2 weeks per month)

Schedule : 24 / 7 ER coverage with dedicated PA support + ~3.5 outpatient clinic days per week (morning shifts, Mon–Fri)

Duration : 6–9 months with potential for extension

Setting : Hospital and outpatient clinic

Caseload : Variable (0–7 admissions per day); full spectrum of orthopedic cases, excluding complex pelvic procedures

Support : Hospital team support and MA staff in the outpatient clinic

EMR : Epic

Requirements :

Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery – Required

Fellowship-trained in Orthopedic Trauma Surgery – Required

Active WA license or IMLC with LOQ in hand – Required

Minimum 5 years of Level II Trauma experience – Required

BLS, DEA – Required (will consider candidates willing to obtain post-offer)

Clean malpractice history – Preferred

Availability at time of name clear – Required
