Summary :

Responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles (trucks, and heavy-duty vehicles). Ensures vehicles operate safely and efficiently. Maintains and repairs drilling rigs and other heavy equipment such as excavators, skid steers, and front loaders.

Key Responsibilities :

• Inspect and diagnose mechanical / electrical issues using manual and computerized tools.
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical components.
• Perform routine maintenance (brake service, fluid changes, lubrication, filter replacement).
• Repair or replace worn or defective parts (engine, transmission, brakes).
• Conduct test drives to verify repairs.
• Maintain accurate service records and communicate repairs to Fleet Manager.
• Stay updated on automotive technology and safety standards.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on drills and rig equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic systems, including diesel engines and compressors.
• Disassemble and reassemble major components
• Operate service trucks, cranes, and heavy equipment for repairs.
• Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication as needed.
