Senior UX/UI Designer

Reporting to our Director, Product Design, we’re looking for n senior UX/UI Designer who has a passion for building digital products that provide value to our customers. You will be closely working with the product design team to design first-rate practices for the Zylo product utilizing UX/UI concepts. You will be part of a constant cycle of understanding your user's needs, processing opportunities, iterating through ideas with teams, and proposing solutions. Your designs will be based on iterations from direct user and customer involvement with our product. What you will do

• You will work closely with the Director of Product Design, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, Marketing and other cross functional high-paced teams of the business by enabling a design thinking approach to comprehending and addressing problems as well as validate solutions with our customers.
• You will help in contributing to our end-to-end design process from concept to research to high fidelity prototypes.
• You will be involved with usability testing working with engineering to deliver user-centric products.
• You will be dissecting a user problem to its core and working it through the product design process to provide solutions
• Have a user-centric approach to design and a comprehension of how to apply user research data. Knowledge of how to relate to users and dive into the domain.
• Presenting your work to stakeholders and cross-functional teams and customers and receiving live feedback.

What you will need

• 4+ years of professional experience in a devoted UX/UI design role building digital products for B2B, SaaS web applications.
• A strong portfolio with high-quality visual and interaction design showcasing expertise in user-centered design, information architecture, interaction design and visual design.
• Hands-on experience creating wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, user flows, etc.
• Proven expertise in bringing complex datasets to life in a clear, accessible way that quickly communicates value.
• Effectiveness in working on multiple projects at a time solving problems collaboratively with engineering and product management teams.
• Fluency with design tools (Figma, Adobe) and practices.

Nice to have:

• Comfort with an iterative design process that includes accepting and acting on internal and external feedback
• Designing enterprise level solutions for finance, IT and/or procurement use-cases.
• Experience communicating high level design concepts to internal and external users
• Understanding of front end building components (HTML, CSS) and frameworks (Typescript, React)
• Knowledge of accessibility standards
