Enrolled Agent - Tax Preparer

An established professional office is seeking a skilled Enrolled Agent (EA) / Tax Preparer to join its on-site team in Naples, Florida. This position is ideal for a tax professional who enjoys handling complex returns and building long-term client relationships. The role involves year-round tax preparation, planning, and compliance support for individuals, trusts, and business entities in a structured and collaborative environment.

• Prepare and review federal and state tax returns, including Forms 1040, 1041, 1120, 1120S, and 1065
• Assist with tax planning strategies to support client financial goals
• Manage compliance requirements and respond to IRS notices and correspondence
• Work closely with fiduciaries, attorneys, and financial advisors on client matters
• Maintain strict confidentiality and ensure accuracy and timeliness of filings
• Stay current with tax law changes and best practices

• Active EA or CPA credential in good standing

• Minimum 3 years of professional tax preparation experience

• Strong knowledge of individual, trust, and business taxation

• Experience with Drake, UltraTax, or similar tax software

• Familiarity with QuickBooks preferred

• Trust and estate tax experience is an advantage

• Salary range: $80,000 – $145,000
