Manufacturing Engineer | Welding

About Our Client

My client is a leading, family-owned manufacturer of high-quality hydraulic products serving companies primarily in the aerospace / defense industries. Due to impressive growth, they will be investing heavily in increasing their welding capabilities. Because of this, they are seeking an Engineer with a foundation in MIG / TIG / Resistance welding to join their team!

Job Description

• Develop and implement efficient welding manufacturing processes to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of design and production activities.
• Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable solutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations in all manufacturing operations.
• Support new product development by designing and refining production methods.
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to minimize downtime and enhance performance.
• Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of processes, procedures, and performance metrics.
• Train and mentor production staff on best practices and updated procedures.

The Successful Applicant

• A degree in engineering or a related field.
• 2+years' experience in manufacturing, with a focus on welding operations.

Proficiency in TIG, Resistance, Laser welding preferred.

• Proficiency in process optimization and production methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with industrial / manufacturing equipment and tools.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements - knowledge of AS9100 QMS is desired.
