The Role
You’ll be one of our first engineering hires, working directly with our founders to build, iterate, and scale our core product. You’ll be in a central position interfacing with frontend engineers, systems engineers, and infrastructure engineers to deliver scalable, secure, and high‑performing solutions that improve user experience and support business growth. This is a rare opportunity to have massive impact and shape the technical foundation of a growing company.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust backend services and APIs to support our core product
- Ship fast and iterate quickly based on user feedback and data insights
- Architect scalable systems that can grow with our user base and business needs
- Optimize application performance for high throughput and low latency
- Collaborate directly with founders on product strategy and technical decisions
- Establish engineering best practices including code review, testing, and deployment processes
- Mentor future team members as we grow the engineering organization
- Wear multiple hats and tackle whatever needs to be done to move the company forward
