Our trim carpenters play a crucial role in creating polished finishes, from hanging cabinets to installing baseboards, trim, and other detailed carpentry work that adds the final touches to our projects.

PAY & WAGE STRUCTURE :

Trim carpenters are full-time, year-round employees compensated on an hourly basis, with rates ranging from $18 to $30 per hour, depending on experience and work ethic. Each individual's unique abilities are recognized, and this range may not reflect current employees' exact compensation.

HOURS & SHIFTS :

Trim carpenters can expect a standard work week of 40-45 hours, Monday through Friday. Most projects are located within Sioux Falls to minimize travel time and maintain a work-life balance. When travel is necessary, it is compensated, and additional overtime hours are available.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS :

Install cabinets, baseboards, crown molding, doors, and other finishing elements with precision.

Operate hand and power tools to complete detailed carpentry tasks safely and efficiently.

Read blueprints or drawings to understand project specifications and execute finish work according to plan.

Work collaboratively with other trades to ensure seamless project completion.

Solve on-site challenges with creativity and adaptability, while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, and a commitment to high-quality work while meeting deadlines.

Possess a strong work ethic, with punctuality and consistent attendance.

Maintain a friendly attitude, high level of customer service, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass a background check is required.
