Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work extensively within SAP and SAP Ariba to analyze, review, and process purchase requisitions, review supplier responses, manage open orders and deliveries, and handle invoice exceptions. You will be responsible for the sourcing of indirect materials and services not managed through strategic initiatives, and you will engage proactively with vendors and customers to ensure timely delivery and continuity of site operations.

Responsibilities

Analyze, review, and process purchase requisitions using SAP and SAP Ariba.

Review supplier responses and manage open orders and deliveries.

Handle invoice exceptions to ensure accurate processing.

Conduct daily sourcing and transactional tasks for indirect materials / services.

Engage proactively with vendors and customers to ensure timely deliveries and prevent interruptions to operations.

Facilitate communication requests as needed.

Essential Skills

1 year of experience with ERP / SAP systems.

Experience in supply chain management and purchase order processing.

Proficiency in SAP, supplier management, and vendor management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Office 365, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, SharePoint, and Teams.

Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks with urgency.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Professional dress and demeanor.

Ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at various organizational levels.

Experience in procurement, accounts payable, supply chain, or a related business field.

Experience with SAP Ariba or other large ERP systems.

Familiarity with AI tools such as CoPilot.

Work Environment

This is a 6-month onsite project offering an opportunity to work on a vibrant campus. There is a possibility of transitioning to a direct role, with the option to apply for full-time roles during the contract period. The work environment emphasizes professional attire and effective collaboration across various organizational levels.

This is a Contract position based out of Wichita, KS.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00 / hr.
