Locum Tenens Opportunity for Traumatic Brain Injury / General Medicine Physicians near WESTHOPE, ND (Job ID : j-223775)

Are you a skilled Physician seeking a flexible locum tenens opportunity in Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) and General Medicine near WESTHOPE, ND? Join our team at an undisclosed location in a rewarding environment where you can provide essential medical assessments to patients. We are currently seeking qualified Physicians to perform a combination of General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury exams on a PRN basis.

Position Overview :

  • Profession : Physician
  • Specialty : Traumatic Brain Injury / General Medicine
  • Default Rate Type : Daily
  • Emergency / Temp Privileges : No
  • Shift Type : Days
  • Shift Description : PRN - as needed basis. Shifts TBD. Half day is 4 hours or less. Full day is 4-8 hours.

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct comprehensive medical assessments, focusing on General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury.
  • Perform interview-based evaluations with some physical assessments, including range of motion testing, muscle strength testing, and evaluation of traumatic brain injury.
  • Utilize a goniometer and other necessary tools for accurate assessments.
  • Document findings accurately in the provider portal and submit Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) within 48 hours upon exam completion.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

    • Requirements :

  • Board Certification : Required in any of the following specialties : Neurology, Neurosurgery, PM&R
  • DMA Certification : Available (can obtain CME credits) - Required once privileged if not already certified
  • Experience : Familiarity with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardio conditions required
  • Technology : Must own a personal laptop (NO Apple Laptops / MACs)
  • Licensing : Active North Dakota License - Required
  • Certifications : BLS / ACLS / PALS - Current at time of submission
  • Background Check : Clean background, no malpractice history - Required
  • Provider Portal : Proficient in using the provider portal for evaluations and record review
