Cover general rheumatology clinics and provide inpatient care in the UPMC system at Pittsburgh-based hospitals. 4-day work week Dedicated clinics at the University of Pittsburgh Sjögren's Disease Center Dedicated clinics at the University of Pittsburgh Vasculitis Center Sjögren's and vasculitis clinical trials Minimum of 6 inpatient weeks per year (negotiable) Provide quality rheumatology instruction, training, and mentorship in the inpatient / outpatient settings to medical students, residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals Interact with their academic and basic science colleagues in the Division of Rheumatology and the Department of Medicine as part of their employment; this includes but is not limited to attending division and departmental faculty meetings, serving on committees; working to solve / address quality concerns and attending grand rounds Competitive base salary plus RVU productivity incentives Health, life and disability insurance Medical malpractice insurance, professional dues Defined contribution plan; 403b plan with employer matched contributions Relocation allowance CME allowance of $3,000 plus one-week CME conference time Five weeks PTO UPMC Rheumatology is ranked in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. Candidates should hold an MD, be BC / BE in Rheumatology, and have interest in advancing patient care and research.
The Division of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology at the University of Pittsburgh school of Medicine (UPSOM) / University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) is seeking a dedicated, collaborative rheumatologist with superb clinical acumen to join our team as a member of our faculty. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to provide specialized, interdisciplinary care to patients with Sjögren's Disease and Vasculitis at the UPMC Sjögren's Disease and Vasculitis Centers respectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in participating in Sjögren's and Vasculitis clinical trials to advance both patient care and research. Experience in musculoskeletal, vascular, and / or salivary gland ultrasound would be a highly advantageous asset, though training can be provided.
- Must have an MD or equivalent,
- Be board certified in Internal Medicine and be BC / BE in Rheumatology with the ability to obtain an unrestricted PA license.
- Must have completed an accredited fellowship in Rheumatology.
- H1B visa sponsorship available. Additional visa sponsorship can be discussed
