Job Overview :
As an Electrical Engineer at MECA Engineering Corporation, you will play a critical role in the coordination and execution of the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) and fire protection components of our projects. Working from the pre-construction stage through to post-construction, you will ensure that all electrical systems are designed, installed, and maintained to the highest standards, meeting both project specifications and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage and coordinate MEP and fire protection aspects of projects across all phases, including pre-construction planning, construction management, and post-construction support.
- Develop and review electrical designs, ensuring they meet MEP standards and project goals. Utilize power studies to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, mechanical engineers, and contractors, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Conduct inspections and quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client requirements.
- Maintain detailed project documentation and deliver timely progress reports to stakeholders.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in electrical engineering, preferably with a focus on MEP and power studies.Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. Professional Engineering (P.E.) license is a plus.Proficiency in electrical design software, power analysis tools, and relevant project management software.Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and fire protection systems.Demonstrated experience in managing projects from concept through completion, with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.Key Attributes :
