Wright Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, a premier skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility, is seeking a high-performing Director of Marketing to aggressively drive census growth and strengthen referral market share.

This is a results-driven leadership role for a seasoned SNF marketing professional who understands how to build, defend, and grow census in a competitive healthcare market. Only candidates with proven Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) marketing experience will be considered.

Position Summary

The Director of Marketing is directly accountable for census growth, payer mix optimization, and referral conversion. This leader will own the facility’s census strategy, execute high-impact outreach, and maintain dominant referral relationships with hospitals, physicians, discharge planners, and managed care partners.

Success in this role is measured by consistent census performance, referral volume, and conversion results.

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum 2+ years of marketing leadership experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)

• Demonstrated success in driving census growth and improving payer mix

• Strong working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care networks

• Proven ability to manage referral pipelines, CRMs, and census reporting

• Confident communicator with strong negotiation and relationship-building skills

• Highly accountable, competitive, and goal-oriented mindset

Key Responsibilities

• Own and execute the facility’s census growth strategy, with clear weekly and monthly targets

• Build, maintain, and expand high-producing hospital and managed care referral relationships

• Aggressively manage referral pipelines to maximize conversion rates and speed-to-admission

• Lead and hold the admissions and marketing team accountable to daily follow-up, conversion metrics, and performance standards

• Identify census barriers and implement corrective action plans immediately

• Monitor competitor activity and adjust outreach strategies to protect and grow market share

• Track, analyze, and report census trends, payer mix, referral sources, and ROI

Performance Expectations

• Deliver consistent census growth aligned with facility and regional targets

• Maintain strong Medicare and managed care census

• Demonstrate measurable improvement in referral conversion rates
