Job Title : 1 : 1 Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - School-Based Support

Location : Schools across Los Angeles, CA

Pay Rate : $30-35 / hour

Position Overview :

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide 1 : 1 support to students in a school setting in El Monte. The School LVN is responsible for identifying and addressing health concerns, promoting general wellness, and supporting disease prevention efforts. This role includes monitoring the student's physical condition throughout the school day and referring to appropriate healthcare resources when necessary. All care is delivered in accordance with the LVN scope of practice and in compliance with applicable state education codes.

Key Responsibilities :

Provide 1 : 1 health support to assigned student(s) during the school day

Monitor and document student's physical condition and health needs

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers

Promote wellness and provide health education as needed

Minimum Requirements :

Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

Current LPN / LVN license in the state of California

One year of school nurse experience, preferred

One-year pediatric experience, preferred

Current CPR certification (if applicable)

TB questionnaire, PPD test, or chest x-ray (if applicable)

Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
