Facilities Manager

Purpose of the Position :

Coordinates and directs the design, planning, construction, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, and other facilities by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Other Responsibilities and Key Activities Required in the Position :

• Plans all the activities to ensure the high level of performances for the machines and systems installed in the factories.
• Decide how and when to use the external suppliers for the planned and unplanned maintenance processes.
• Ensure the functionality of the machines, tools and production lines and the related cost optimization.
• Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team to ensure that the maintenance and facilities strategy is implemented effectively, consistently, and according to established guidelines and budgets.
• Maintain strong connections with other colleagues within company to share best practices and to understand current and future requirements.

Experience in administering safety programs.

Other Competences Required in the Position :

• At least 5 years of professional experience in manufacturing processes and manufacturing facilities management.
• Bachelor degree in manufacturing maintenance and / or equivalent experience.
• Extended competences on electrics or mechanics (from the theory and from the practice).
• Wide understanding of the business needs coming from the production processes.
• Deep knowledge about maintenance principles and maintenance management systems as well as facilities management.
• Experience in leading the safety function for a manufacturing environment.
