Internal Medicine Physician

Seeking a General Internal Medicine or Family Medicine trained physician to provide equitable and effective value-based healthcare services to a well-established primary care practice in Columbia, MO. We are seeking an ambulatory clinic physician who is motivated to provide exceptional care to our adult population; exposure to pediatrics is historically minimal. New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Position Expectations/Description:

• Assess, diagnose, treat and administer primary care services for our patient population
• Maintain accurate patient medical record data and documentation via Meditech Expanse
• Collaborate with the medical group specialists, hospital providers and health system leadership to coordinate care and meet key quality metrics as it relates to population health.
• Access to full service, hospital affiliated clinic with excellent patient mix, including comprehensive lab, imaging and therapy services on-site.
• See 16 to 20 patients per day as a full-time provider with a half day protected as administrative time.
• Monday through Friday schedule with holidays off; minimal call responsibilities shared amongst eight additional providers

Looking for the following qualifications:

• Medical Doctor (M.D) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) graduate
• Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (or board eligible)
• Current unrestricted license to practice medicine and prescribe medication and the ability of obtain a Missouri medical license
• Active DEA license
