Job Title : Electrophysiology Technician

Hours per Shift : 10 hours

Experience : Minimum 2 years in electrophysiology

License : IL or RCIS / RCES

Certifications : BLS required

Must-Have : Experience with ablations

Description :

Perform diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures in a clinical setting.

Operate conventional, fluoroscopic, or radiology equipment to obtain images of designated body parts according to physician specifications and / or orders.

Assist the physician with various diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Monitor and pass instruments and catheters as needed.

Observe patient responses to procedures and maintain a sterile field.

Interpret and evaluate diagnostic data for physician use.

An applicable Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Radiology is required or completion of an accredited radiology technology program is necessary.

Experience with special procedures is preferred.

Work four 10-hour shifts, with one night of call per week and one weekend per month.

On-call responsibility includes one night per week and one weekend every fourth weekend.
