Data Center Logistics Tech

Location : Sandston, VA

• About the Role

We are seeking a Data Center Logistics Technician to join our team in Sandston, VA. This role is critical to ensuring smooth operations within our data center environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in logistics processes specific to the data center industry, including inventory management, shipping / receiving, and coordination of hardware deployments.

• Key Responsibilities :
• Manage inbound and outbound shipments of IT equipment and related materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely updates in tracking systems.
• Coordinate with internal teams and vendors for hardware deliveries and returns.
• Ensure compliance with data center security and handling protocols.
• Assist with staging, racking, and cabling of equipment as needed.
• Troubleshoot logistical issues and implement process improvements.
• Qualifications :
• Experience : Minimum 2 years in logistics, preferably within a data center or IT environment.
• Strong understanding of supply chain and inventory management principles.
• Familiarity with data center operations and hardware handling best practices.
• Ability to lift and move equipment safely (up to 50 lbs).
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency with inventory tracking tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Preferred Skills :

Experience with ERP or asset management systems.

Knowledge of shipping regulations and vendor coordination.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sandston, VA.

• Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $42.00 / hr.
